Water Damage Restoration
Burst pipe, flood, roof leak, or sewage backup? Water spreads fast and damages everything it touches. We extract, dry, and rebuild, around the clock.
Fast water removal limits the damage
Water is invasive. Within hours it soaks into floors, walls, and belongings, and within days it can lead to mold and structural problems. The faster we start, the more we save, which is why we answer the phone 24/7 and move quickly.

What the drying process actually involves
Removing standing water is the visible part of the job and the smallest part of it. The work that decides whether your floors cup, your baseboards swell, and your walls grow mold is what happens over the following days, inside materials you cannot see.
Finding the full extent of the water
Water travels along framing and under flooring, so the wet area is almost always larger than the visible one. Our technicians use penetrating and non-penetrating moisture meters to read the actual moisture content of materials, and thermal imaging to spot temperature differences where evaporation is happening behind a finished surface. Those readings get logged at fixed points so there is a documented baseline, and so we can prove the structure is drying rather than guess at it.
Categories and classes
The industry sorts water by how contaminated it is. Category 1 is clean water from a supply line. Category 2 carries meaningful contamination, appliance discharge for example. Category 3 is grossly contaminated and includes sewage and most flood water. Category is not fixed: clean water left sitting warm will degrade. The category decides what can be dried in place and what has to be removed, which is why an honest assessment early saves both material and money.
Extraction, then controlled evaporation
Extraction removes far more water per hour than evaporation ever will, so we pull out everything we can mechanically before drying equipment goes in. Materials that cannot be dried in place come out: carpet pad, saturated insulation, and sometimes a controlled cut of drywall so the wall cavity can be reached and dried directly.
Then air movers create airflow across wet surfaces to speed evaporation, while dehumidifiers pull that moisture out of the air so it does not simply resettle somewhere else in the house. The two work as a system. Fans on their own just relocate humidity. Equipment placement is calculated from the affected area and the materials involved, and readings are taken daily until the structure meets a dry standard rather than until it feels dry.
How long it takes
Most residential drying runs a few days, with equipment typically in place three to five days. Dense materials such as plaster, hardwood, and concrete take longer than drywall and carpet. Timelines vary with the volume of water, how long it sat, the materials involved, and conditions in the building, so we give you a realistic estimate after the inspection rather than a number over the phone.
